With this paper we aim to expose the symbiotic relationship between globalisation and education. We want to alert about the main fallacies of the global development project. We also go through the concepts of high and low intensities in globalisation, highlighting the tenuous line that separates them.
We intend to theorize about the impact of the European Dimension of Education in the process of planning and developing educative and curricular policies in the National, Regional and Local spectrum. It is relevant, in this sense, to understand the role of the Education Schools Project in the alignment of these European benchmarks, with the vision of social microcosm.
The present paper is part of a research Project for obtaining a masterâ€™s degree in Educational sciences in the specialty of educational administration.
